Dear Coug,
As you look forward to preparing for the 2009-2010 year at Washington State University we’d like you take a closer look at Alpha Kappa Lambda fraternity.
The AKL house has been on campus continuously since 1927. We have a strong alumni base. Our alumni include CEO’s, attorneys, government officials, and even a current NFL player. Upon graduation from WSU, AKL alumni take care of their own with career guidance and job opportunities. In addition, the graduation rate of fraternity members is much higher than non-members.
Alpha Kappa Lambda is much different than the other fraternities on Greek row at Washington State University. At AKL we do not allow freshman to live in our chapter house which creates a more responsible and mature fraternity environment. Unlike fraternities that allow freshmen to live in the chapter house, we are not required to follow the WSU freshman housing guidelines that other fraternities do.
We are less expensive then both residence halls and apartment rates. Like residence hall living, we too have a full time cook, but we offer the freedom that comes with living in an apartment or a house off campus.
Alpha Kappa Lambda is very socially pro-active with the sororities at Washington State University. We have brotherhood activities on a regular basis. We promote scholarly excellence, philanthropic efforts, enjoyable social activities, and life-long career contacts.
We encourage you to contact one of these area recruiting chairmen to schedule a meeting. We have an active summer of events and we’d like to meet you. |
